Started with a short dinghy ride to shore to walk the pups. From there we headed down to Willow Island just beyond Kampsville.

Fog lifted just before 10am and we setoff for our long 50 mile day, sunny and temps in the 70s was exactly what we needed after a few days of cold and rain.

So here is some stats from our first week on the trip… Distance Covered: 262.2 Miles Hours Underway: 50.5

At our current anchorage we are only 31 miles from the Mississippi! So tonight will be our last night on the Illinois river… Very excited to make it Grafton tomorrow and check out the town.
