Well, the proverbial cat is out of the spinnaker bag…

I had originally planned on spending the summer cruising the east coast, was looking forward to spending time in Newport, Cape Cod, and making my way all the way up to Maine.

The universe had different plans… Looks like I’ll be enjoying the Bahamas till mid-April, then headed back to Florida to leave the boat on the hard and return to Chicago for the summer. I had been toying with this idea as it made sense from a logistics standpoint for the road rallies this summer, the Mac Race, and life in general. But this past week the universe made it very clear that was going to be the plan, as I was offered and accepted a role with SailGP (Thanks Tod!) consulting on their Chicago event in mid-June.

I’ve spent the last decade planning and producing some wild events all around the globe, from Monster Trucks in Australia to Music Festivals, concert tours, Supercar Driving Experiences, and everything in between… Excited to add what is essentially F1 on the water to that list.
