123 miles and 21 hours later we made it to Nassau!
It was calm and windless all night had some commercial traffic pass by but overall pretty uneventful. Did my typical solo 20 minute nap rotation all night without issue.
Dropped the hook around 5:30am. Got an hour and a half of sleep in, then a zoom call at 7, followed by breakfast and now we are back underway for our final leg to the Exumas!
Dropping the anchor in the dark with the spreader lights on revealed that signature Bahamian blue water. Feels good to be almost to the Exumas!
Highbourne Cay is our destination today. More light wind so like Sister Christian we’ll be Mooooootorinnnn’. It’s only 42nm away so we should be there before 5pm.
The Exumas have been my biggest goal for this trip, feels great to finally have them in reach!
