After a few days here in Staniel, I get what all the fuss is about. What a fantastic spot. I could easily see making this my home port next cruising season.

There’s plenty to do within a few hours in each direction, and you are minutes from the infamous Pig Beach and the Thunderball Grotto.

SCYC is a great spot. Nice restaurant/bar, gift shop, fuel and water.

I’ve been trying to tick off some boat projects inbetween work obligations, I have a few visitors coming the next few weeks so it’s time to get this place ship shape again, first up reinstalling and varnishing the binnacle top that I removed in Marathon and never got around to..
