Adjustment to land life has gone well so far… but the inevitable has happened. After 7 months of never needing keys, I managed to forget them while taking the dogs out this AM. Luckily, we live on the first floor so I was able to just toss the basenjis and their new BFF Samus over the glass enclosure for our front patio. I however have reverted to stoop life. In a weird limbo of waving at fellow early morning dog walkers, while waiting for one of my neighbors to leave for work so I can get in….
